Homepacks Build with Andre Mayo

We recently spoke with Andre from Cassa Homes about using Homepacks and one of their concept plan builds...

What’s your background?

I have been building for 15 years. We formed our company, Cassa Homes, in 2010 and now have seven staff. Based in Whitianga in the Coromandel, we do new residential builds ranging from high-end holiday homes on the Whitianga waterways to entry-level family homes.

Why did you choose our concept plans for your business?

We chose Homepacks concept plans for our business because the style of design resonated with our own vision for design and style. We want to create a niche that set us apart in our area. We needed to build our brand and help create an overall feel for our company.

What reservations did you have about purchasing our concept plans?

Would the cost pay off? Would clients like the plans as much as we did?

We made the decision to go ahead as we believed it would be a good investment in our business growth.

What benefits have you found from using Homepacks concepts?

Improved overall business recognition, got feedback on our website, our designs, more work coming in.

Have you found having Homepacks concepts help to draw more customer inquiries and leads into your business?

Yes.

How does having your own range of plans help you?

Gives us a point of difference, helps us attract clients that have the same design ideas as us.

How have you found working with predesigned, customizable concept plans?

Straight forward!

Here's a Homepacks plan Andre & his team built:

What custom changes were made to the original concept plan?

The original concept was 190sqm; We increased the overall size by 15sqm. We moved the laundry into the garage and widened the entranceway. Also, the cladding was changed from Espan to Board and batten with a stain finish.

What was the value of this build?

$550,000
