We recently spoke with Aaron from Lambly Builders about using Homepacks and his latest concept plan build...

How long have you been building?

I've been building for 17 years.

What's your background?

I took the leap into self-employment in 2011, setting up as Lambly Builders with the vision and promise of providing high-quality building services.

I have always maintained the belief "Do it once and do it right," which means quality service, workmanship and products are non-negotiable, and I'm pleased to say I have a great team who also value the same principles.

Over the last 6+ years, that team and I have been building and growing in the wider Whangarei region. Our values of reliability and communication have helped us to grow through happy homeowners and referrals, which we find the biggest compliment. We have a team of four builders.

Why did you choose our concept plans for your business?

I first saw Homepacks when named SJN Architecture (est. 2012) and always thought that it was a good idea.

I had a lot of good idea's it was just the doing part which needed addressing. I entered a business coaching mentorship, which helped me start to execute and action these ideas.

A new website with plans on offer was all part of the journey to develop a marketable business which brought in leads. Having Homepacks is a big part of this!


What reservations did you have about purchasing our concept plans?  

Initially cost, or the initial investment was always going to be a consideration.

I was looking at Certified Builders plans at the same time. The thing I loved about Homepacks was making them your own... The company watermark was big, but also adding our own home names made it all that much more personalised to our brand and us.


What benefits have you found from using our concepts?

We use the artist impressions on our roadside, which had instant effect, comments and interest! It now just ticks away. Through our customer inquiry, questionnaire people will always say they have seen the sign.

The plans on our website are great, and if we run a Facebook ad we will always see this transfer to website visits and downloads.


Have you found having our concepts help to draw more customer inquiries and leads into your business?

Yes, of course, through Facebook, signage etc.
